.Reno mattresses are engineering components made of double-twisted hexagonal metal mesh woven from low-carbon steel wire by machine. Stone is filled into the components to form a structure primarily used for erosion protection.
.Reno mattress specifications, mesh sizes, and wire parameters are shown in the detailed drawings.
.Reno mattresses are one-piece molded products. The partitions are double partitions. Except for the cover plate, the side plates, end plates, partitions, and bottom plate are composed of a single continuous, uncut mesh. A separate double-layer folded mesh cannot be used as double partitions by weaving it onto the bottom plate. See the component drawings for details.
.The Reno mattress supplier must provide a tensile strength test report for the mesh surface issued by a testing unit certified by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA).
.The Reno mattress supplier must provide a salt spray test report for 10% aluminum-zinc alloy steel wire for at least 480 hours issued by a testing unit certified by the CNCA.
.Coating Adhesion Requirements: The adhesion of the 10% aluminum-zinc alloy coating is tested using a winding test method, and should meet the following standard: when the 10% aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel wire is tightly wound around a mandrel with a diameter twice its own for 6 turns, rubbing the wire with a finger should not cause the coating to peel or crack.
.Steel Wire Winding Standard: The connection between the end of the cut mesh and the end wire is the weakest point of the entire structure.
To strengthen the connection between the mesh and the end wire, a professional flanging machine must be used to wind the mesh steel wire around the end wire for >2.5 turns. Manual winding is not allowed. Alternatively, use a wire feeder as the end wire and fold the edge instead of mechanical flanging, with a folding length of not less than 8cm.
.Flanging Technical Requirements: The steel wire must be of the same material as the mesh steel wire. To ensure connection strength, it must be strictly twisted alternately with single and double turns at intervals of 10-15cm.
